The End.

When I read “the end” the Lord immediately began to speak to me. He began to speak to me about Love. (This topic I will be going into great detail about in my next book). See, love is one of the greatest weapons we have been given to defeat the enemy. Unfortunately, we have been deceived into thinking that it is one of our weakest characteristics. When we talk about real love we are not talking about just sappy stuff but we are talking about a level of vulnerability, truth and grace that many see as unattainable.
Love is the thing that brought about salvation to a dying world. Love brings about a contentment once we realize we can not control anything or anyone all we can do is love them. It was in the moments that Jesus’ heart was moved with compassion that many were healed and delivered (Luke 7:13, Matthew 15:32, Matthew 9:36, Matthew 14:14, Hebrew 4:15). It wasn’t his upset or disgust or lack of grace but it was the very opposite of those things that allowed Him to see the dying souls behind the bondage. When we see the struggles and distressed of others it should bring out the best in us, the part of the believer that desires to meet the need.
To love means to open our spiritual eyes and see like Christ. It requires us to push past our natural, cultural and societal biases. This often makes us uncomfortable and makes us feel like we are negating the truth. The fact of the matter is actually that we are accepting the immediate truth and choosing to love inspite of what we know and what we see. There is no qualification for love, if that were the case we would all be disqualified. 1 John 4:19 says “we love because He first loved us.”
Yes, love makes us vulnerable but that vulnerability makes us powerful. With vulnerability there is no hidden agenda. This type of love is scary, (I’m still growing and being challenged in this area). My apostle told me once that the beat way to truly live and experience the fullness of life is to allow myself to feel the fullness of every feeling and emotion that life brings my way. To me that sounded like, live with your heart open to feel! It has proven to be a true statement of wisdom. We guard our hearts but we shouldn’t build a wall around them. being numb to life is no fun, I’ve been there done that and I’ve missed out on the fullness of times and memories. When we operate numb we allow the past into our now. I challenge you to be present in your feelings, be present with your love.
When we allow ourself to live and feel and process through this life, we give God access to us that catapults us into destiny. We hear this often but it is true, Jesus knew Judas would betray him but it was that betrayal that pushed Him to the place of fulfillment. Judas had a money issue (John 12:3-6) so what would it have benefitted Jesus to take his actions personal.
It is in our best interest to love anyway because God plans for us are of good and not evil (Jeremiah 29:11). Love when it is easy and when it is hard. Love because we are loved. Love enough to help, love enough to endure, love enough to hold accountable.
Love is the beginning and the end.
“If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love. Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head, Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others, Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything,
e day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled. If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.”
